April is coming! And that means the 2016 Blogging from A to Z Challenge will begin. Wondering what’s that? It’s a challenge to post on all days in April except Sundays, which gives us 26 posts – one for each letter of the alphabet. Want to find out more? Go here.
Last year I had so much fun and met so many amazing bloggers that I just couldn’t resist joining the challenge this year. My theme last year was poetry – you can check them out on my old blog here.
My theme for this year is…
When I signed up for the challenge in January, the plan was to do poetry with the color word for each day as the main inspiration. I’ve decided to scrap that plan (somewhat). I haven’t prepared. I’ve only written maybe 2 or 3 poems. I’ve only got 10 days, and to tell you honestly I was ready to write a post today about how I will not be participating.
I’m not giving up. I’m scared (maybe that’s a good thing). The new plan is to continue with the color theme – it took me some time to find all the words (as you can imagine) – but I will be more lax on the form. This means you can look forward to some poetry, flash fiction, and lots of winging it. The plan is to keep it to 100 words (200 words max.), which is doable and makes for quick and easy reading.
OK, now I’m off to check out others’ themes.
