Reflecting on A to Z #atozchallenge

This was my second year participating in the A to Z Challenge, but my first time pants-ting it. The only plan I had was the theme — color. I’d had the words for each day selected ahead of time, and that was it.

Originally, I’d planned for it all to be poetry, but poetry is difficult to write on demand (at least for me), so I loosened the reins a bit.

I succeeded in writing 13 poems, 10 pieces of flash fiction, and 3 looser posts around the day’s color. I’m pretty happy with the results.

My insecurity this month is actually this site, or maybe even more precisely something most writers love to hate: the author platform. For the last few months I have felt like I have lost my spark/passion for blogging and I feel lost as to how all this relates to my writing career.
